Director of Communications and Public Affairs
The Long Beach Public Library Foundation seeks a Director of Communications & Public Affairs to drive impactful storytelling, advocacy, and engagement efforts that support our mission. This role strengthens relationships with city leaders, elected officials, and community stakeholders, develops compelling content, and creates materials that support fundraising initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic communications, branding, and public affairs initiatives
- Develop content for digital, print, and social platforms
- Track city policies and legislative developments impacting libraries
- Create advocacy toolkits, policy briefings, and outreach materials
- Oversee event communications and public engagement strategies
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary ($85,000 – $95,000 DOE)
