The Library Leadership Award recognizes those who have demonstrated longstanding financial support for the Long Beach Public Library Foundation.
California Resources Corporation has demonstrated incredible generosity and commitment to STEAM education in Long Beach. Not only has CRC been a significant sponsor of our annual Grape Expectations gala, but its generous support helped us launch the Library’s Mobile Studio program. The Mobile Studio enables the library to bring free workshops and classes on cutting-edge technologies to each of its branches and to schools, parks and recreation centers, community organizations, and events or wherever they are needed most, reaching kids who were not already coming into the Library and encouraging them to participate in Library programs.

Lorrie Hutton
This award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to the Long Beach Public Library Foundation, our public libraries, and the community.
Lorrie Hutton served on the Library Foundation Board of Directors for 14 years, with terms as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Vice President of Finance. She continues to provide invaluable support to the Legacy Committee and the Finance and Investment Committees. Beyond her extraordinary commitment of time, she established the Hutton Family Endowment Fund and is a member of our Carnegie49 legacy society.
