A Fundraiser to Benefit the
Long Beach Public Library Foundation

Save the Date!  
Sunday, June 28, 2009 will be the date of our sixth annual fundraising event, Grape Expectations in the gorgeous Sculpture Garden Museum of Latin American Art. The evening features a five course dinner with perfectly paired wines to match each sensational course. 

In 2008, we had a record breaking year netting over $85,000!  The proceeds from Grape Expectations support the Foundation and literacy programs such as Raising A Reader and the twelve Family Learning Centers located in each library.

Donate to our Silent Auction!
Each year we depend on generous donors like you to give us items we can use in our silent, live and online auctions.  We are looking for gift certificates, travel packages, home decor items, jewelry, gift baskets, wines, gourmet items, handicrafts and much more!  If you have an item you would like to donate, please email Livi Gutman at lbplfoundation@charter.com (or call 562-628-2441).  

We are also looking for volunteers to help us gather items and prepare for this event!
