Mission The Long Beach Public Library Foundation dedicates itself to raise funds to provide supplemental programs that assist the Long Beach Public Library to promote literacy and meet the educational and informational needs of our culturally diverse community.
Board of Directors Led by a twenty five member Board of Directors representing Long Beach's business and community leaders, the Library Foundation has raised more than four million dollars since its inception and has greatly enhanced the visibility of the Long Beach Public Library and all it offers to the citizens of Long Beach and beyond.
The Library Foundation provides support and oversees programs designed to promote literacy, academic success, self-help learning and free access to current technologies. The Library Foundation in not a United Way agency and relies entirely on private gifts from individual donors, corporations, foundations and planned gifts. Click here to see how you can support us. |
