The Long Beach Public Library is giving children the opportunity to fuel their brains this summer with challenging and fun STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) learning opportunities at the 2018 Maker Camp. From engineering robotic cars to designing 3D prints, campers will explore different advancing technological fields and might even be inspired to prepare for a future career as an engineer, programmer, or designer.

This year’s Maker Camp for campers, ages 10-16, will be held at three libraries:
Main Library: July 7, 14, 21, and 28 from 2:00-4:30PM
Michelle Obama Library: July 10, 17, 24, and 31 from 2:00-4:30PM
Mark Twain Library: July 12, 19, 26, and August 2 from 1:00-3:30PM
